DESCRIPTION:Celebrate America 250 in downtown Jackson at the 1st Annual 3rd of July Parade & Patriotic Celebration\, a full day of patriotic fun on Main Street and around town. The day begins with a parade on Main Street\, followed by a sidewalk sale and food court featuring local Jackson businesses and restaurants\, plus live music by The Blowbacks. The celebration continues into the evening with old-fashioned family games at Detert Park and fireworks over Jackson. \n\n\n\nThe 1st Annual 3rd of July Parade & Patriotic Celebration takes place Friday\, July 3\, 2026\, in Jackson\, CA. The parade begins at 9:30 AM on Main Street\, family games begin at 7:30 PM at Detert Park\, and fireworks begin at 9 PM. \n\n\n\nJackson businesses and restaurants located within city limits with a current business license are invited to participate in the Sidewalk Sale or Food Court. Free booth space is available\, and the deadline to sign up is June 1. The play follows four below-average pickleball players who get the chance to compete in a local tournament\, but first must overcome their limitations\, excuses\, and personal rivalries in a game where there are no apologies. \n\n\n\nDirected by Susan McCandless\, this outdoor summer production brings comedy\, competition\, and plenty of silliness to the Kennedy Mine Amphitheatre. Guests are invited to arrive early\, bring a picnic\, and enjoy an evening of theatre under the stars. \n\n\n\nPickleball runs Fridays and Saturdays\, June 19 through July 18\, 2026\, at the Kennedy Mine Amphitheatre\, 1127 North Main Street in Jackson\, CA.
