DESCRIPTION:Bring those little bunnies to the Italian Picnic Grounds on Saturday\, April 19th\, 2025 for an Easter Eggstravaganza.  The Sutter Creek Church of the Nazarene will one again present their annual community Easter egg hunt.  One you participate in one of their age-appropriate hunts\, stick around for free food\, inflatables\, games\, and music.  To make sure there are eggs for everyone\, they ask that you preregister.  That can be done by clicking here. \nThe Easter Eggstravaganza begins at 11 am and ends at 2 pm.  This is a free event!  The Italian Picnic Grounds is located at 581 California Highway 49 in Sutter Creek\, California. \nFor more information please contact the Sutter Creek Church of the Nazarene at 209-267-1307 or office@scnaz.org.

DESCRIPTION:Running from April 11 through May 17\, Volcano Theatre Company presents Bus Stop\, William Inge’s classic slice‑of‑life drama set in a rural Kansas diner during a blizzard. Stranded bus passengers\, an earnest cowboy smitten with a wary nightclub singer\, a restless professor\, a no‑nonsense sheriff\, and others\, share the long night\, revealing hopes\, heartbreaks\, and unexpected connections that are by turns humorous and tender. First staged on Broadway in 1955\, the play’s intimate portraits of ordinary people still resonate today. \n\n\n\nStaged in the company’s intimate Cobblestone Theatre\, this production surrounds the audience with the warmth of the diner itself\, giving every patron a front‑row feeling only a few feet from the action. \n\n\n\nPerformances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM and Sundays at 2:00 PM.
