SUMMARY:2022 Golden Threads Quilt Show
DESCRIPTION:The Mother Lode Quilters’ Guild presents the 2022 Golden Threads Quilt Show\, October 1st and 2nd in Historic Sutter Creek.  The Quilt Show will be held at the Sutter Creek Auditorium and Community Center located at 18 Main Street in Sutter Creek\, California.  The show opens at 10 am both days and closes at 5 pm on Saturday and at 4 pm on Sunday.  Admission is $7 per person and children under 5 are free with a paying adult. \nIf you are interested in quilting then this is the show for you.  The Quilt Show will feature quilter Jenny Lyon author of Free-Motion Quilting from Ordinary to Extraordinary.  Jenny will have quilts on display and will provide mini-demonstrations each day.  To find out more about Jenny\, please visit her website at www.quiltskipper.com.  In addition\, the Quilt Show will feature vendors\, a country store\, gift baskets\, a silent auction and an opportunity quilt.  For more information\, please visit the Mother Lode Quilters’ Guild website at www.mlqgsuttercreek.org. \nHere is a flyer for the event: Quilt Show Fliers

DESCRIPTION:The Ione Police Foundation presents the 7th Annual Fundraising Dinner to benefit the Ione Police Department.  The Dinner will take place on Saturday October 1st\, 2022 at the Evalynn Bishop Hall at Charles Howard Park in Ione.  Prior to the dinner will be a no-host bar starting at 5:30 pm with the dinner beginning at 6:30.  This is going to be a wonderful dinner catered by Motherlode Deli featuring grilled beef tri-tip\, grilled chicken breast\, garlic mashed potatoes\, green beans\, spring salad mix and garlic bread.  Don’t forget to bring your checkbook to support the Police Department by buying raffle tickets and bidding on the live and silent auctions. \nThe Evalynn Bishop Hall is located at 701 California Highway 124 in Ione\, California.  Tickets to the Fundraising Dinner are $40 per person or you can get a table of 10 for $350.  For tickets or for more information\, please contact any Ione Police Officer\, stop by the Ione City Hall or call 209-304-5101. \nThank you to the Amador Community Foundation for fiscally sponsoring this event.

SUMMARY:Halloween at 49er Village RV Resort
DESCRIPTION:One of the truly great experiences of Amador County\, especially if you have kids\, is the Saturday Trick or Treating at the 49er Village RV Resort.  This Plymouth tradition is open to the public and little ghosts\, witches\, and ghouls come from miles around.  But the guests at 49er RV Village have just as much fun by decorating their RVs\, creating haunted houses\, and making sure their is something special for mom and dad as well.  This year Halloween will be all October long with expanded trick or treating on each Saturday in October.  Trick or treating is from 6 to 8 pm and no vehicle traffic is allowed in the park during this time.  Admission is still just $5 or a bag of candy. \nThe 49er RV Village Resort is located at 18265 California Highway 49 in Plymouth\, California.  For more information please call the Resort at 209-245-6981

Then one night a socially inept and grief-struck millionaire stumbles into the car dealership where Becky works.
