Valentine’s Day Rose Pruning Workshop

Give your garden a little love this Valentine’s Day at the Valentine’s Day Rose Pruning Workshop hosted by UC Master Gardeners of Amador County. This hands-on class will teach you how and when to prune different types of roses, what tools are truly needed and how to care for them, how to train climbing roses for a beautiful display, and how proper pruning helps roses grow stronger, healthier, and bloom more beautifully. Participants are encouraged to bring their own potted roses to practice pruning techniques during demonstrations.

The Valentine’s Day Rose Pruning Workshop will be located at the GSA Building located at 12200-B Airport Road in Jackson. Registration is available online at https://surveys.ucanr.edu/survey.cfm?surveynumber=46323 and walk-ins are welcome.
