Preston Castle Haunt

The screams return to Ione this October as the legendary Preston Castle Haunt celebrates 15 years of spine-chilling terror. Known as one of California’s most haunted places and featured on shows like Ghost Hunters, Ghost Adventures, and Ghost Asylum, the Castle transforms once again into a walkthrough haunted house experience unlike any other.
This is not a historical tour, this is a full-on fright fest. Step into the haunted halls and prepare for encounters with ghosts, shadows, and terrors that will leave you breathless. The Haunt runs on select weekends in October, with gates opening at 6:45 pm. General Admission is timed: choose either the 7:00–8:30 pm entry or the 8:30–10:00 pm entry. VIP FastPass tickets allow entry any time from 7:00–10:00 pm and let you skip the long lines.
Tickets are $35 for General Admission and $50 for VIP FastPass. Food vendors will be onsite to satisfy your hunger, and exclusive merchandise including T-shirts and sweatshirts will be available. Parking is free, with shuttle service provided from the lower lot.
This event is designed to be extremely intense and is not recommended for young children.
