Motherlode Monster Dash 5k

Lace up your sneakers… if you dare! The Mother Lode is about to get a frightfully fun new tradition with the inaugural Mother Lode Monster Dash 5K & Costume Contest, hosted by Argonaut Cross Country.

This Halloween-themed 5K run/walk welcomes all ages and abilities—whether you’re as fast as a vampire bat or as steady as a zombie. The course begins and ends at the historic Jackson Catholic Cemetery, making it the perfect “rise and run” location.

🎃 Highlights:

• Awards for overall and age-group finishers
• Costume contest with prizes for the most spook-tacular outfits
• First-place finishers receive a homemade pumpkin pie, baked by Argonaut culinary students
• All participants get a custom T-shirt designed by an Argonaut art student
• Food, fun, and a ghoulishly great post-race party at 9:00 AM
