Ione Homecoming

Ione Homecoming returns for its 150th celebration, bringing two days of small-town tradition, family fun, and community spirit to Ione. This longtime annual event features a packed schedule of hometown favorites, with activities for all ages happening throughout Friday and Saturday.
Friday’s lineup includes the Kids Costume Parade, fireworks, Mutton Bustin’, a social gathering, lead line, cornhole, ACLLW baseball games, and live music. Saturday continues with the Bedbug Challenge, pancake breakfast, the annual Homecoming Parade, petting zoo, lawn mower races, live music, frog jump, candy drop, calf and cow chip bingo, soap box derby races, carnival fun, bingo, food trucks, the Andy Bonham Memorial Team Roping, bull riding, goat roping, ranch bronc riding, horseshoe tournament, Kids Corner, craft vendors, the Ione Mustang Alumni Dinner, and the chili, rib, and salsa cook-off.
The 150th Ione Homecoming takes place Friday and Saturday, May 8 and 9, 2026, in Ione, with many activities centered around Howard Park at 600 South Church Street. The parade will take place on Main Street in Ione.
